• Damaged areas must be patched with compatible material, extending at least 150 mm beyond the defect.

6. Protection Measures

• Cover the geomembrane promptly with protective layers (e.g., soil or geotextile) to prevent UV degradation or mechanical damage.

• Avoid heavy machinery directly operating on exposed geomembrane.

7. Quality Control

• Document welding parameters, inspection results, and repair records.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, GRI-GM13).

8. Safety & Environmental Protection

• Workers must use appropriate PPE (gloves, boots, etc.).

• Waste materials (cut-offs, packaging) must be properly disposed of to avoid pollution.
